April Scott, born January 29, 1979 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, is an American actress and model. Scott has appeared on television programs such as Deal or No Deal and CSI: Miami. She will also star in the direct to video prequel to the Dukes of Hazzard feature film. During high school, Scott was a frequent sight at beauty pagents, winning around half of them. Upon Graduating from Campbell High School in 1997 as April Mcintosh, she enrolled in College of the Ozarks, a Christian College in Point Lookout, Missouri. She concentrated on her studies, graduating valedictorian with a degree in Theater and a minor in rhetoric.Scott also dabbled in film directing. Soon after graduating college, she moved to Los Angeles to begin an acting career. Within a week, she had signed with an agent. Scott’s acting career includes shows such as Entourage, The Shield, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, and CSI: Miami. She also hosted ESPN2’s new show, The Hook, where she interviews extreme sports athletes. In 2006, she became one of the caseholder models for NBC’s hit game show, Deal or No Deal. After 19, she always held case #14, then left after Season 2 premiere week.In the upcoming movie The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning, Scott will be playing the role of a young Daisy Duke which was previously portrayed by Jessica Simpson in the first movie. Aside from her acting career, Scott is also a successful model. She is the face of Merle Norman Cosmetics and has appeared in a number of ads including campaigns for Dreamgirls Lingerie, Jamaican Style Swimwear and Hey Baby Lingerie. She has also graced the covers of numerous magazines, most recently Fitness RX (September 2006 issue) as well as Import Tuner (October 2006 issue).
